Building community
The Taoist Studies Institute brings community functions to the neighborhood including lectures on Taoism that are open to the public.
Annual open house events showcase traditional artists, movement demonstrations as well as good food and good fun.
Semi-annual retreats provide participants with an opportunity to relax in a beautiful environment while focusing on Taoist cultivation and movement practices. The Institute also participates in and sponsors national and regional scholastic and coordinates educational trips to China.
Students freely participate in one or several facets of the program to meet their individual needs and level of interest.*
